At the beginning of the new year, the association organized top environmental experts in the industry to provide targeted guidance on the implementation ofcurrent national ecological environment policy projects through online video conferences for our association's deputy units, close cooperation units, and relevant municipal environmental protection bureaus. The service model of theconference was highly praised by the participants and was considered an important measure to promote the win-win development of environmental protection.During the meeting, environmental protection experts gave an in-depth interpretation of the current ecological and environmental policies, analyzing the deep meaning behind the policies and the key points in implementation. The experts explained through examples to give participants a clearer understanding of how to effectively implement policies. In addition, the experts also answered the practical problems encountered by participating units during the implementation processand provided professional guidance and suggestions. Participants said that through video conferencing, they were able to interact instantly, and questions and feedback were very timely, which is crucial for understanding and mastering complex environmental policies. On February 24, 2024, on the occasion of the Lantern Festival, our association and the River and Lake Environmental Technology Development Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University jointly established the Seaweed Ecological Industry Economic Research Center. Professor Yu , Professor Kong Hainan from the School of Environmental Science and Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University , Professor Zhang Xingqi from the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Professor Zhang Xingqi from the School of Geography and Marine Sciences of Nanjing University . This listing was especially supported by Li Libiao, director of Dali Prefecture Ecological Environment Bureau, and leaders of Eryuan County. After the listing, everyone listened to the development strategy of sea cauliflower. I will use sea cauliflower as the starting point of ecological economy. Recently, the Vice President and Secretary General of the Association, together with the relevant staff of the Secretariat, reported the overall work of the Association last year and the work arrangements of this year to President Wu Fengchang.

Recently, the association was invited to participate in the Spring Festival concert for Ambassadors. The Vice President and Secretary-General of the Association and his staff attended the concert, and communicated with ambassadors from more than 10 countries and guests from all walks of life, including the Ambassador of Italy and the Ambassador of Japan to China.

Recently, the association organized a special exchange seminar for the member units of two carbon reduction and energy saving technology - cement industry kiln waste heat recovery technology, member units invested hundreds of millions of yuan, devoted to research and development for several years, has successfully completed the pilot test, can be promoted to the country. This technology can significantly reduce electricity consumption and increase production capacity by more than 15% without changing the existing process by adding or changing some facilities, which can contribute to China's carbon peak and carbon neutrality.

Recently, Zhejiang Xiaoqiao Flowing Water Technology Co., Ltd., the vice president unit of our association, has launched a new overall solution for groundwater detection and a 1J level 1J2 groundwater sampling equipment. The core advantage of the new detection scheme is that it can achieve automatic well washing, planning sampling time and mode while meeting the national groundwater sampling scheme, thereby significantly reducing the sampling time cycle and personnel costs. On January 4, 2024, IEEPA held the Secretariat's Annual Summary Conference for 2023 at the Henderson Center Office. Everyone reported on the work situation for the year.
