On January 19, 2025, the head of our organization attended the Yellow River Laboratory's 2024 Annual Work Summary Meeting as a strategic consulting expert. Participants visited the laboratory’s new office premises, where Academician Wang Fuming presided over the event and gave high praise to the laboratory team. The meeting reviewed guidance from Henan Province leadership, examined the design plan for the laboratory exhibition hall, summarized the work achievements of 2024, and discussed key tasks for 2025. Teams led by Academicians Wang Guangqian, Xu Weilin, Ma Jun, Zhang Jianyun, Wang Hao, and Wang Fuming respectively reported on progress in areas such as suspension river management, underground reservoirs, ecological agriculture, water resources, and climate change. The laboratory also shared updates on preparations for Phase II of the Chinese-style base and large scientific facilities. Leaders from both the provincial and municipal levels of Henan Province, along with leaders from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, attended the meeting and provided valuable guidance.
