Recently, the International Environmental Protection Association (IEEPA) announced plans to host the Technical Exchange Conference on New Pollutants Governance and Environmental Health Risk Prevention and Control in Changzhou in April 2025. The conference aims to facilitate collaboration among global experts, industry representatives, and scholars in addressing emerging pollutants, fostering discussions on mitigating their environmental and public health impacts.
Current preparations for the event are progressing systematically. Detailed plans have been finalized for hotel accommodations, catering services, transportation coordination, and venue setup. Academically, the conference will feature multiple parallel sessions focusing on specialized themes to promote knowledge sharing and practical applications of research findings.
The event will include keynote speeches by internationally renowned experts who will present cutting-edge advancements and achievements in emerging pollutant research and governance. This approach not only elevates the conference’s academic rigor and global influence but also creates a dynamic platform for professional learning and interdisciplinary exchange.
With over 60 proposed parallel session applications already submitted, the strong participation reflects heightened attention from both academic and industrial sectors. To optimize efficiency and quality, IEEPA and its advisory experts are considering merging sessions with overlapping themes, enabling more concentrated knowledge exchange among participants.
